(hereinafter also referred to as “Mavive”) provide this Privacy Policy to the visitors of the website www.audacityland.com, outlining the purposes and methods of Data processing, as well as instructions on how to exercise privacy rights. By using our services, you consent to De Rigo and Mavive processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Who we are
In the context of Data processing, the Data Controllers are jointly De Rigo Vision S.p.A. with registered office at Z.I. Villanova, 12 32013 Longarone (BL) – VAT number IT01001050259, represented by its legal representative, and Mavive S.p.A. with registered office at Via Altinia, 298/B Dese 30173 Venezia (VE) – VAT number 02159290275, represented by its legal representative. Should the data subject have any inquiries regarding this privacy policy or, more generally, the processing of their Data, they may contact the Data Controllers respectively at the following addresses: [email protected] and [email protected].
It is noted that De Rigo and Mavive have formalized a contract defining their respective responsibilities regarding compliance with obligations arising from the European Regulation. This privacy notice is applicable to all visitors of the website www.audacityland.com, concerning the Data provided by them to De Rigo.
Which data we process and why we collect it
The Data Controllers will collect, record, retain, organize, structure, store, update, adapt, combine, consult, use, and disclose your Data for the purposes described in this section. Your Data will not be further used for purposes that are incompatible or inconsistent with the purposes for which they were collected, unless permitted by applicable law.
It is hereby noted that the platform ‘AudacityLand’ is owned by De Rigo, which oversees its management and maintenance, and thus the personal data stored therein will be handled solely by De Rigo.
Below are the purposes for which the Data Controllers will process your personal data and the respective Data Controllers:
- Managing back-office activities to respond to user requests (such as inquiries, support, claims, etc.) – De Rigo Vision;
- Advertising the products and the brand managed by the company – De Rigo Vision and Mavive;
- Developing statistics on products and services provided to website visitors – De Rigo Vision and Mavive;
- Improving the quality of products and services provided by De Rigo – De Rigo Vision.
Regarding treatments for marketing purposes towards website visitors, explicit consent will be required from individuals;the consent provided will allow both De Rigo and Mavive to advertise their own products and brands. As for the development of statistics through the collection and analysis of browsing cookies, please refer to the related Cookie Policy. For the remaining processing purposes, the obtainment of the consent to the processing of your Data is not necessary, since these purposes constitute a legitimate interest in performing analyses on the web tools offered (ex Art. 6 of GDPR).
Given the purposes described above, the Data Controllers will process the following types of Data:
- Common personal data, such as email address, name and surname, telephone number;
- Data associated with participating users for the Audacity Land program (such as scores, rankings, badges, tokens, etc.);
- Browsing data, also known as Cookies, such as the IP address from which you connect to the internet, the type of browser you use, or the queries of online searches you do on our websites. Such information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by their nature, they could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow for the identification of users.
Data is collected on an optional or mandatory basis. If providing Data is mandatory, it will be clearly indicated as such. In the event that an individual refuses to provide the Data identified as mandatory, we will be unable to proceed with your requests and/or provide you with the service.
The processing of your data for marketing purposes is conditioned upon your explicit consent. Any refusal to give consent will only result in the inability to offer you information about initiatives and products that may interest you.
How we use your data
To achieve the purposes for which we need to process your Data, we will collect and store your Data in our systems or in systems of third parties identified as External Data Processors, and such data may also be collected and stored in paper format. How we share your data
For achieving the purposes outlined above, your data may be transmitted to third parties, whether they are Independent Controllers or External Data Processors. The categories of third parties that may be involved in the processing activities of your Data are:
- IT service providers we rely on (including blockchain technology providers who will safeguard the data related to the Audacity Land program);
- Agencies or service providers supporting the Data Controllers in marketing activities;
- Our sales network or other companies controlled by the Data Controllers, if functional for processing your requests.
In the event that third parties act as External Data Processors, it is the responsibility of the Data Controllers to ensure that these entities process your data appropriately and securely, based on the specific processing. To ensure this, they will ensure that the third party has adequate processing measures and will provide precise instructions, ultimately monitoring its operations. To safeguard the data associated with each user who registers and participates in the Audacity Land program, such as scores achieved, the Data Controllers will employ Blockchain technology, following the ERC-1555 standard.
Within the purposes described above, the Data Controllers may transmit the Data collected to providers located in non-EU countries; in any case, the Companies undertake to ensure an adequate level of protection by establishing appropriate safeguards in accordance with the European Privacy Regulation (GDPR – EU 679/2016).
Our obligations and your rights
Our obligations -The data provided by you or collected from third-party sources will be stored in our records only to the extent necessary and for the sole purpose of fulfilling the aforementioned purposes, or until consent given for processing, where provided, is revoked. To ensure that we process your Data in accordance with your preferences, in every commercial message, even if sent separately from the Data Controllers, we will give you the opportunity to easily express the desire not to receive further communications related to De Rigo or Mavive brands and services.
Your rights –
By contacting us at the addresses [email protected] or [email protected], you can: request the deletion of your Data (e.g., if you no longer need our services), request changes, updates, and corrections to data, especially if they are inaccurate, request to limit the use of your Data, request access to your Data stored by us and obtain and/or have your Data transferred in a readable format, or request us to stop using all or part of your Data.
In case of a request for deletion or modification, data stored in blockchain technology will not be deleted due to technological constraints but will no longer be attributable to the data subject.
In case of deletion, modification, or limitation of data usage stored within the Audacity Land platform, we kindly ask you to contact [email protected], as the platform ‘AudacityLand’ is owned by De Rigo, which oversees its management and maintenance, and thus the personal data stored therein will be handled solely by De Rigo itself.
